One of his initial designs was a tight jeans with stone wash, the Marilyn with 3 zippers. Bloomingdale's was the first departmental store to receive the brand by ordering two dozen pairs of jeans. They disappeared from the shelves in just a few hours. This was the beginning of a long success story.
