National Geographic Free Shipping July 2024

National Geographic makes every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. Items in stock are shipped from our San Fernando, California warehouse within one or two business days of receiving your order.
Personalized items and those that are shipped directly from the manufacturer may have longer delivery times (see product description), and will only be sent via standard ground shipping. If express shipping is selected for personalized or made on demand items, the manufacturing lead time in business days seen on the item page is still required. However your shipping in-transit time will be significantly reduced.
Orders may ship in multiple boxes and arrive separately. Some items may not be available in all areas or via expedited methods. If there are any problems with your order, you will receive an e-mail from us with further details. Once shipped, the delivery time is based upon the product you ordered and the shipping method you chose during checkout.
Continental U.S. Addresses: Please allow 3-8 business days for delivery of in-stock items within the continental U.S.
AK, HI, Military, U.S. Territories: Please allow up to 7-10 business days for delivery of in-stock items to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, APO/FPO, and all other U.S. Territories.
U.S. Genographic Kits - Standard shipping rates do not apply Helix Geno 2.0 shipping & handling is a $9.95 fee per kit for delivery via ground within the United States. There are multiple fees for shipping multiple kits.
Military addresses: USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Please make sure to use USA as the country for military addresses.
P.O. Boxes We cannot accept P.O. Boxes as a shipping address, except military addresses. If you do not receive U.S. Mail at your home address, please be aware that if you select Ground shipping, your package may be shipped by USPS.
Canadian Addresses: Shipments will arrive within 7-10 business days. Please note that you are responsible for any import fees, taxes, or duties required in your location upon delivery.
Canadian Genographic Kits - Standard shipping rates do not apply: Customers shipping Geno 2.0 kits to Canada will be charged $19.95 USD per order. Please note that you are responsible for any import fees, taxes, or duties required in your location upon delivery.
All Other Countries: Shipments will arrive in 7-14 business days. Please note that you are responsible for any import fees, taxes, or duties required in your location upon delivery. There are multiple fees for shipping multiple kits.
All Other Countries Genographic Kits - Standard shipping rates do not apply: Customers shipping to countries (other than the United States and Canada) will be charged $29.95 USD per order. Please note that you are responsible for any import fees, taxes, or duties required in your location upon delivery.
Domestic Two-Day Express Shipping
We offer second day service in the U.S. on all in-stock orders received by 1:00 PM eastern time. Helix kits ordered by 10 am EST will ship out the same day, and be delivered within two business days. Made on demand items will ship express once the item is produced which requires a few business days. Express shipping significantly cuts down travel time for made on demand items, but it does not supersede production time.
Shipments will be sent via Fedex Monday through Friday; we do not ship or deliver on weekends or holidays. Please refer to the chart here for delivery time and rates.
U.S. 2nd Day Shipping: Shipments will be sent via Fedex 2-day service. Please note there is no weekend or holiday delivery.
U.S. Helix Genographic Kits 2nd day shipping- Standard shipping rates do not apply Helix Geno 2.0 shipping & handling is a $24.95 fee per kit for delivery via 2nd day within the United States. For destinations outside the U.S., we do not offer express shipping.
Shipping Restrictions
We regret that licensing restrictions prohibit us from shipping our video/DVD products outside the U.S. and Canada. Overseas customers, please check your local video centers for our products. In addition, some products are unable to be shipped outside the U.S. or to P.O. boxes because of their size. In each case, the product information will list any shipping restrictions on that item.
